This application complies with the normal procedures outlined in Boeing’s Flight Crew Training Manual for various models from the Boeing 727 to the Boeing 787.
For Airbus Captains, there is no need for concern as this method is applicable to Airbus aircraft as well and is recommended for all jet aircraft operations.
The tool provides a visual display of the aircraft's heading, wind direction, headwind/crosswind components, and issues colored alerts if any limits are surpassed, including crosswind, tailwind, or nearing the Flap Placard Limit Speed, facilitating the execution of a partial Flap Landing. It's user-friendly!
